Retrofitting later gen OEM Honda stereo w/Nav to gen 2 (2003) CRV

Have anyone tried to retrofit later generation OEM Honda stereo with navigation/back up camera to gen-2 CRV?
I know that many folks installed aftermarket systems with Nav/back up camera, but I'm contemplating to do this with later gen OEM Honda equipment.
Have anyone done this?
Thanks

I think it will be much easier if you put aftermarket stereo, OEM stereo from later CR-V will have plug in different shapes and connection to your existing harness. The only reason for me (2017) to keep OEM is it does more than just stereo, climate control, hondalink, etc show up in the display. Aftermarket stereo doesn't process that information. And right now, there is a problem on Android Auto between the OEM head unit - later Android version (Pixel 2, Pixel 3, and on), disconnection issue. While on my after market stereo with Android Auto this problem doesn't exist.
Thx for your feedback, I was thinking more towards unit from Gen-3 CRV or similar (OEM Honda) that incorporated Radio, CD, Nav, Back up camera and AUX input.
