I've noticed the area around the reverse camera lens really tends to bead up with water whenever it rains, really obscuring the view.

Just wondering if anybody's come across a rain shield or some other homebrew method to avoid the issue. I've had a little rain covering or blocking cameras before on other cars, just not as bad as on the CRV.

Maybe a wipe of RainX in that area?

Automatic Wipers for the Reverse Camera Lens is an optional accessory.

Seriously, maybe RainX product would help.

Just so I'm sure, when standing behind the CR-V the rear camera is on the underside of the top spoiler toward the left, yes?

It was more obvious on my Fusion.

No, not at all. Not sure what you are looking at, but it is located in the spot where you place your hand to open the hatch. Pretty noticeable if you're looking for it.
