Sometimes I sit in our CRV while my wife goes into the store to shop so I'll turn the car off and turn on the accessory mode to listen to music. After awhile I try to put the window down but no power to the window. Is there ANY way to put the window down without having to start the car? just curious

there are 3 levels of power - remember, FOB must be present
Accessory -press button without foot on brake
ON - press button again without foot on brake
Start - press button w/foot on brake

So, to clarify

Hondas need the power ON (second level, above) to power the windows.


If this mode powers the ignition circuits, I wouldn't leave it in that mode for a long time. Just long enough to work the windows.

If you have the fob, isn't there a command that opens ALL the windows without any of those modes invoked? (That's designed to cool the car on hot sunny days, but hey,, it might work for the OP.)
