I'm too fat to trust a rooftop tent.

Last I read there weren't good roof options on the 5th gen and it's not recommended.

For a 1/4 the price, you can get a hell of a ground tent.

Intriguing. Would for sure worry about killing the battery. Probably disconnect if it were me. Or have a spare charger on trips.
