I want to upgrade my sat nav but I am not clear exactly where to start.
I want all the features I have now plus a touch screen, the ability to show phone details on the screen,
hands free dialling, easy pairing etc.
Some guidance as to where to look and some recommendations would be appreciated.
I am in France so where to buy and who will fit it, plus costs will give me a good start.
I am not asking too much as this forum is full of knowledgeable people.
Thanks in advance.

We would need to know which generation of CR-V. I'm not sure if the later generations can even be upgraded.

For aftermarket, I went with a Pioneer 4200NEX. Android Auto in the dash now gives me navigation (with no discs to buy, plus the life traffic conditions), and Google Assistant so I can do a lot of things hands-free. I also bought it for sound quality, but I won't go into that here.

He has a 2007.
Suggest you look at Crutchfield’s site for help with products that fit your CRV

Thanks for the replies.
I appreciate your suggestions WILDCAT as I am by no means an expert and you have given me food for
thought so I am downloading Android Auto to my phone so I can look at it.
If I use AA then a new unit for the car should be cheaper although you have paid a decent price so I must be sure I don't miss anything.
Thanks again for taking the trouble to help.
regards
