So mod'ing the lamp allowed you to move it such that the glove box door will now push the plunger shutting off the lamp?

Nice mod.

Wow, 250 views and only 3 comments from 2 people.

I guess I'm making this thread just for myself or should I just delete it? That would save me tons of time in uploading pics and typing a story. Hmmmmm decisions.

You're not making this thread for yourself. Keep up the good work.
I'm sure some are left speechless by your work. I know I'd never take a dash apart as far as you have unless it REALLY needed it for some reason.

I'm enjoying the thread, keep it up. ^_^

I think I'll look into that armrest, that's excellent. Do you have a link for the seller?

As for working inside the dash, I've found my 2005 CR-V (which had 50,000km on it (31k miles) when I bought it last year hehe) to be incredibly easy to work on. The dash components just fall out and re-wiring stuff is super simple.

Is that a giant review mirror that gives 270* field of vision?

Soooo, now the challenge is can you make 'before' and 'after' pictures that demonstrate the added benefits of having such a mirror?
