Everything is working fine but suddenly the screen (2017 Touring Navi) goes dim and can hardly see. If I restart the car, it is not dim anymore. Any ideas what to do?

Is there an ambient light sensor that might be partially blocked, or dirty? (Perhaps someone with a 2017 knows where it is)

Sensor might be located in fake speaker grill on the top center of dash

You can adjust both the sensitivity of when it darkens, and how dark it gets. It is not tied the dash brightness. Scroll thru the setup menus on the system.

You may have do do it twice, once each for driver 1 and driver 2.
