Sensor disables lane mitigation

Why does a light rain or light snow causes lane departure mitigation to disengage? Sometimes cruise control is inoperable also! When we’re on the interstate it’s very frustrating!! Most safety features aren’t working! When does the differential fluid need to be changed?
