Just got a 2019 CR-V Touring SUV and I love it. So far, one question!
Do the side mirrors fold in without using the key fob? There must be a setting somewhere but I am missing it!
Thanks!

If your key fob is near your body, example in your purse or pocket, there is no reason to place it in your hand. as long as that fob is near your body, just place your hand on the door handle. The door will automatically unlock. Your salesman should have demonstrated this for you.

She obviously doesn't live in the US and has a CR-V with auto folding mirrors. When she presses the lock on the fob, they fold in. This is the same thing our CX-5 does, but we can also press the button on the door handle to do the same thing.

I live in the good old USA! AM hoping I just missed something and that the mirrors do automatically close!
I believe that the only way that they will fold in is if you manually push them in individually. Not automatically, not by pushing a button on the FOB, or inside the car.

Does anyone think it would be possible to purchase the parts from Honda Canada to convert the side mirrors to auto-folding? Do you think the control harness already supports it?

Unfortunately, the folding mirrors are not a US option, though they are in most of the rest of the world. I wish they were. On my first trip to the grocery store with my new-to-me CR-V, someone hit and broke my driver's side mirror. Aargh! Likely someone in a big pickup with big mirrors.

Hi Guys,

In my CRV 2019 Touring model, the only default option which comes from the factory for auto closing the side mirrors can be operated from inside the vehicle by pressing down the button for closing and pressing it up for opening. I prefer to have auto closing and opening the side mirrors using the key fob.
I have some few questions about this:
1) Since OEM isn't available, will aftermarket options like modules/regulators/controllers work. Seen some on Ali Express and Max Audio - Malaysia website which.

After installation of this aftermarket option, 2) Will the walk away auto lock continue to function normally?
3) Will the button inside the vehicle for auto closing and opening the side mirrors continue to function like it used to be?
4) Will it have any effect the remote start engine, i.e will it continue to work?

Guys please give your comments & feedback on this topic.

1. Yes, aftermarket kits will work. They just need to be wired up correctly.
2. Yes, unless someone cuts the wrong wire/harness!
