What country are you in?Just got a 2019 CR-V Touring SUV and I love it. So far, one question!
Do the side mirrors fold in without using the key fob? There must be a setting somewhere but I am missing it!
Thanks!
Huh?That's very disappointing because I keep my key in my purse so it is inconvenient to remove it everytime I park the car.
She obviously doesn't live in the US and has a CR-V with auto folding mirrors. When she presses the lock on the fob, they fold in. This is the same thing our CX-5 does, but we can also press the button on the door handle to do the same thing. If your key fob is near your body, example in your purse or pocket, there is no reason to place it in your hand. as long as that fob is near your body, just place your hand on the door handle. The door will automatically unlock. Your salesman should have demonstrated this for you.
Well, then why the comment about the key fob?I live in the good old USA! AM hoping I just missed something and that the mirrors do automatically close!
I believe that the only way that they will fold in is if you manually push them in individually. Not automatically, not by pushing a button on the FOB, or inside the car.I live in the good old USA! AM hoping I just missed something and that the mirrors do automatically close!

Hi Guys,Unfortunately, the folding mirrors are not a US option, though they are in most of the rest of the world. I wish they were. On my first trip to the grocery store with my new-to-me CR-V, someone hit and broke my driver's side mirror. Aargh! Likely someone in a big pickup with big mirrors.
