Does anyone else experience a slight pull back (feels like engine braking) about half a second after letting go of the gas pedal? This only happens at low speeds ~20-30mph. I know CVT’s sometimes have trouble figuring out gears at low speeds. Is that the reason?

Yes. Also my '11 Subaru Legacy (CVT) did it, my '16 Subaru Outback (CVT) did it, along with my new Chev Colorado (8Speed). I assume it's all good.
