Slow idel return to normal

Hi all first post here. 07 CRV 190000 miles. Did all the motor mounts Sunday and had to remove battery and unplug the computer to get to the trans mount. Idle was fine until plugged it back together Now it rpms good but stops at like 1200 then slowly comes down to about 800 in about 4-5 seconds all at operating temp. Previous idle was about 700. I did the home remedy relearn holding 3000 rpm until the fans kicked on and let it idle for 10 minutes. No change. Checked antifreeze level right at normal( i just put in a new radiator and fans last year). We did find a small crack in the air line to throttle body from the filter box and glued that shut. Appears no other vacume leaks a quarter can of choke cleaner used to make sure all lines were not leaking. Any help from you folks would be appreciated.

I have unplugged/ disconnected the battery many multiple times since having this car, and even unplugged the ECM as well, never had an issue after that.
Could be the MAF is dirty. Might also be some leaky or clogged air supply bits.
I had this same condition a few years ago. I replaced the PCV valve and it went away. Five minutes for the install. Check your existing, take it off, you should hear rattling when shaking it. If not, replace it. Although the computer controls the idle, the PCV valve helps to create the vacuum needed to maintain. Also look under your oil cap. If you see a lot of sludge buildup down there, also another indication the PCV should be changed.

Same here with the battery except for unplugging the ECM This was the first time that I witnesed it. It appears sometimes it wants to act normal but most of the time now it does what I say above. Gonna reconnect computer look for any dirt and reconnect and see what happens.
Have your idle relearned with a scan tool. All that 3000 rpm and engine at operating temp stuff never worked for me, when my idle was off from throttle body cleaning. OBD tool, that is capable of idle relearn, is what you need.
