I am going to replace the spark plugs just need too know if any special tool needed and please post any helpful tip in doing this job would be appreciated

Not sure about this year engine but usually a spark plug socket, extension and ratchet to get them out.
I gap them to spec, apply a little antisieze on the threads and use a torque wrench to tighten 13 ft lbs. I also apply some dielectric grease with a screwdriver in the spark plug boots on the terminals.

No special tools, just did mine a few months back. Just take your time, don't be rough with the coil packs, and blow the dust off the engine after you take the plastic cover off.

I changed the spark plugs in my mom’s 2009. I give mad props to Honda for making it so easy to get to the plugs. I have a lawn mover that is more difficult to change the plugs in than a CRV. Good job, Honda engineers!!

The 2.4L is easy...a LOT easier than the 1.5L on a Fit!

Be thankful we don't own McClarens! ($1K for an oil change!) ?
