I just bought a 2003 CR-V with 40K miles on it. I'm looking into doing a few upgrades (new receiver, back up camera, etc...), but there seems to be a lot of rattling noise from the speakers. Has anybody else encountered this? I'm wondering if I need to replace the speakers.

Wouldn't doubt it's the speakers. While not driving, use the fader to shift front back left right and you can usually pretty plainly see. This is usually due to listening to too loud or too bass heavy music. Make sure your test track is something with range, Eg not pop.

Stock are probably paper cones anyway, any upgrade you'll be happy with. Check crutchfield for fitment.
