I've had the SRS light on in my '02 CRV for a while now. I've tried to pull the codes for it by shorting pins 4&9 together on the OBDII connector and the SRS light refuses to flash at all. It stays on solid. The ABS light flashes out 6-1 & 6-2 BTW. Also, I recall seeing/reading somewhere if you try to reset the SRS light (yellow conn under dash) and it doesn't flash when shorted, the SRS module is no good and has to be reflashed or replaced. I tried resetting with the Yellow connector and no joy. I'm stumped at this point cuz I can't pull a code for the SRS on my vehicle to point me in the right direction. Any opinions on this??? Thanks Darrell (Calgary Ab)

Did you go to an auto place to have codes read form a OBD II scanner? I am sure they have advance ones and many different brands to be able to get one to work and to pull any and all codes out..

I assume you read this and that is why you jumped 4 & 9 http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=3111979

I am curious do you have a blue diagnostic connector point on your CRV? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M5BaAa6tCM you can short that way and pull codes this way also.

I assume it is 61 and 62 that says ignition voltage.. don't know what that means maybe someone with more experience or have seen this can give some input. Is your battery and alternator in good shape? Sometimes electrical gremlins can come from bad with either one of them.

Thanks for the input Grefarian...I haven't gone to a local parts dealer to see if their OBDII reader is more capable than mine. I will though. Have spoken with a local Honda dealer and found them unhelpful and very$$$.

Its -15C here today and this week...colder. I'll wait till it warms up a bit and I will go looking on the passenger side of my CRV for the Blue connector point.

The ABS codes can wait till I solve this SRS light issue.

Thanks again. Darrell
