Does anyone know if I wanted to put 7" wide wheels, specifically "Pro Comp Rock Crawler 98" , on a stock suspension height 1997 Gen 1 CR-V would I have rubbing issues with tires under 27" over all diameter.. (215-70 15")

These are wider wheels by an inch and have a 4.5" backspacing I'm looking for the wider stance but don't really want to lift it.

I'm trying to keep the center of gravity low by going a few inches wider and not going up..

Has anyone tried this ever, or anything like it even if they were different sized wheels and tires but still under 27" diameter and a wider stance.

I ask because I don't want to drop $270 on 5 wheels and come to find out it wont work without doing a lift.

Thanks in advance.

If you look at tire manufacturers recommended rim width, those rims are probably too wide for the stock tires.
