1001 CR-V LX: driver's side sun visor will not stay up . I tightened the two screws to no avail. Anything I can do other than getting a new one?

You could try wicking some threadlocker into the swivel bar.

Wipe off any excess.

Another strategy is to put a nut & bolt (with largish fender washers) through the visor where the screws are, to clamp it tighter.

A junkyard might have a better visor than yours. Don't know if you could swap side-to-side?

wow! you have a 1,018 year old CRV. i have to see a picture of that!!
Looks pretty much like a 2001! A big whoops!! I took the entire visor off today, yes it has been a while. The base where the screws go into is broken where it meets the part that clamps the bar holding the visor. Not sure if Gorilla Glue or such will hold. Though of maybe using a soldering gun to "weld" them together.
