Looking into some light modifications that would make it slightly easier to do some summer trips coming up. Nothing crazy.

Here's my current list:
  • Downsize to 17x8" wheels
  • Strap the wheels with Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails @ 235/65 R17 (equivalent(ish) circumference to OEM)
  • Chrome delete the window trim
  • Add the OEM roof cross bars and a bike rack
  • Husky liners all around
Obviously I won't be rock crawling. But this should provide slightly more confidence and ride quality on these New England trail roads.

What do you think of the looks??

Just be careful you might get a bit more body roll when turning as you change the tire aspect ratio but it's good that you kept the same overall size compared to OEM. You will most likely get a softer ride.
