Hi we just purchased CRV-EXL. We noticed a buzzing sound coming from the car. When we closed the door, we heard three beeps, that we never heard before.
My wife drove around a block, then the buzzing sound and three beeps went away. What was the cause?

rapid beeps. any visual light flashing with it as well.

that may be your Smart key leaving the car before the door closing and you know what happens when you turn a key in the door before you close it right? you are beating the locking of the car.

or you got a simplex lock in todays technology or Alexa doing it for ya (SMILES)

The beeps are normally if you have auto lock and walk away too quickly

I've heard buzzing under the car which is normal..I think it's a fuel evap pump test but that runs several hours after the car is off, not when you first turn it off

Happens all the time to me when the rear hatch closes, just click on the door lock button on the fob and the doors will lock, if not the beeps are telling you the doors are not locked.

i've had the buzzing from from hear the rear of the crv - after it's been in the garage for hours. i found that when i did the unlock/lock w/the button on the FOB, the buzzing stopped. weird - no idea if related.

i consciously listen for the buzzing, have not heard it in a while.

Could this be what you were hearing?
