I know that this may have been discussed on numerous threads, but I have purchased 2 brand new TPS's, one a Dorman and another NAPA Auto brand. So here is my issue: I've metered for continuity and I have the proper ground. so I've installed both brands at the proper voltage while closed. The .5v is what i get when closed. At wide open throttle i only get up to 3.6v on both new parts. My question is could there be an issue with my throttle body? I do have a bit of slack in my throttle cable. is it possible that could be an issue of reaching the required 4.5v. Help would be great. I'm tired of chasing this issue and having an idle that is always bouncing and droppiong on its face when i let off the pedal.
Thanks y'all!
