I am looking at getting some cross bars for my CR-V. It already has the roof rails, so the factory bars are about 350-400 less than getting a Thule setup. I have a Thule rack on my 09 civic and some bike carriers and was hoping people with the factory bars could let me know if they have had any issues using Thule or yakima products on the factory bars as I don't want to buy all new bike carriers too. The dealership said they didn't know if Thule products would fit.

I would only be using the rack for bikes (2-3), SUP boards, and possibly kayaks, no roof boxes (which I know are an issue)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

I'm not sure about Thule cross bars, but Thule does makes the bicycle, ski and kayak carriers for Honda that fit on the factory cross bars.

So if they also make a cross bar, then I'd think there other accessories should integrate just fine.

Cheers!
