Two items come to my mind:
1. first contemplate how much this vehicle is worth

Timing Chain broken
i have the ultimate problem. My 2005 diesel CRV's timing chain has broken and the current garage I have put it with have refused to fix it. They say it is beyond economic repair, expensive strip down etc. Mileage is 125000 and it has been a very good runner. What do folk think?
