I've really been enjoying the standard safety features on the Touring and find the ACC one of the best all-time features IMO. I was wondering if anyone knows if ACC is on and a deer sprints out in front if the ACC will respond accordingly? I know there are a number of variables, but curious if anyone has experienced this at all. This could really be a lifesaver for us and the car if it brakes to avoid a collision with a deer.

depends on the speed the deer appears in front of the radar. Even if it does respond, stopping a 3500lbs suv in 10 feet won't happen
