Please can someon help. Whilst towing my caravan I discovered that my towing electrics have failed, even the grey plug . It's worked before.

Are you using a CRV to tow a minivan? If so you'll soon find other failures.

The CRV is a wonderful grocery getter - not a tow truck.

A 'Caravan' is a camping trailer in the UK.

Check your fuses - I'm certain that's the issue (I cannot tell you which fuse, it's likely in your owners manual...)

Wrascal's response was a misunderstanding about your saying your were towing a "caravan".
In the US, a Dodge Caravan is a minivan similar to the Honda Odyssey.
In the US we use the term trailer for something being towed, even if it's a camping trailer.

Thanks all, I'm told it could be the bypass relay in the boot that is proberbly faulty, I'm hoping this is true.

Check your fuses - I'm certain that's the issue (I cannot tell you which fuse, it's likely in your owners manual...)

Thank you very much for your help it turned out to be the 15amp inline fuse, also there was a loose connection on the battery.
