We have a 2010 CR V. Today the TPMS System Warning Light displayed for the first time. This is not the Tire Pressure warning light. It literally has the letters "TPMS" illuminated. I assume this means there is a fault in the TPMS system. I plan to have it looked at, but we have a vacation starting tomorrow, and would like to wait until we return. I think it will be OK, but my wife is worried, so I am asking for few opinions. Thanks.

You'll be fine--just check the pressure with a gauge, correct the tire pressure if needed, and leave on vacation. We drove cars for decades without a TPMS system, and there are still many cars on the road that do not have it.

Then, worry about dealing with it when you get back. Yes, it's nice to have, but no more necessary than keeping an eye on the tires over the course of a road trip.
