I just traded my 2017 CRV EX-L for a 2 liter Chevy Equinox Premier. I checked my CRV engine oil on Thursday 12/6 and noticed it reeked of gasoline. Test drove cars on 12/7 Friday and Saturday. Picked up my new Equinox on Tuesday 12/11.

I did not want to deal with engine issues down the road from diluted oil. I had 53K miles and planned to keep the CRV to 200K miles. I just lost trust in the reliability of Honda's.

BTW - I just got my product update notice from Honda on Thursday 12/20.

Good luck with the new ride.

I rather drive a vehicle that I feel comfortable and happy with than dealing with a reliable brand name, and getting nothing but headaches like the ones I have already experienced so far with Honda.

Couldnt give me an equinox for free.

Would have bought a Toyota or Suburu to replace the CRV. Will find out why soon enough. Especially if you have a warranty issue. GM SUCKS.
