the filter you are referring to is to protect the Trans cooler in the event of a catastrophic trans failure. It does not filter the fluid of anything caused by normal operation. Changing it is a waste of time and money and a chance to create a leake where there wasn't one before....why weaken the clamps and hoses?I'm at 115k 2008 crv ,honda doesnt require to change the transmission filter unless you rebuilding the trans or something is wrong.i just dont see why honda doesnt require this .to me that normal maintenance.what does everyone think of this
