A lot of Honda transmissions have internal filters that can't be changed except during a rebuild.

If you can get access to the ATF filter without taking the tranny apart, change it.

Haha also doesn't recommend charging the engine oil filter at every oil change. SMH...

That filter does in fact filter the transmission fluid and should be changed.
Your ATF fluid exits the transmission, thru the cooler then thru the filter before going back into your transmission.
That filter is not meant just for the cooler and should be changed along with your ATF every 30 to fifty thousand miles since it's a drain and fill application.
Can you post a link to the filter about which you are talking?
