Good morning.....I live in Madison MS and have just bought my 82 yr old mother a 2012 Honda CR-V with 125,000 miles on it. The car is only used in town. I don't allow her to drive at night nor does she travel on the interstate. I bought the car from my boss (!) and he did give us a sweet deal. However, in approximately 5 weeks, I am already in to this car $1400!! New tires, alignment, tie bar issue and we are told it needs a new transmission ($4000). Clearly the transmission will not be fixed. It shudders at around 25 to 40 mph, but then smooths out. My mom is in agreement that the transmission will not be fixed. Has anyone else had issues with transmission?

Change the fluid in the transmission, not flush it just change it as proceedure says WITH HONDA FLUID.

If it's not a CVT then that's simply the torque converter shuddering and an easy fix.
