TSB for excessive oil consumption?

I apologize if this has been posted before. I have a 2010 Honda CR-V lx with 80,000 miles on it. I have recently been doing my own oil changes and I have noticed that I need to add a quart of oil every month or so.

I remember getting a letter from Honda about some sticky piston rings causing excessive oil consumption a few years ago so I took it to the dealer and they said my Honda was fine so I didn't think anything of it.

Now that I am noticing oil consumption, am I still within that warranty since my car is 10 years old with 80k miles? I still have my doubts that everything was fine when I first brought it to the dealer but I can't prove it.

What should I do? Thanks.

Yes I vaguely remember getting that notice and they said my engine was within the normal limits. My concern is that it seems to be getting worse now and of course I am outside of the time limit of the warranty but still under the miles sorry I have a feeling they will tell me to kick dirt if I tried to bring up getting it done under warranty.

From that TSB:

American Honda is extending the warranty coverage on the Piston Rings and Pistons for 2010–11 CR-V 2WD and 4WD to 8 years from the original date of purchase or 125,000 miles, whichever comes first.
You're too late.

I'm not surprised they put that language in, all warranties have "<time> or <miles>, whichever comes first" limitations. And, this particular one is a very expensive repair. Almost 12 hours of labor!

The 2010 CR-V that I will be driving someday is also affected by this. It has about 27,000 miles on it now, but is also outside of the time limit. (I don't have it yet, so I don't know if it's an issue.)
