Is there a way to set the rear interior light to turn on and off when opening and closing the door? I have a 2018 Honda CRV EXL. The rear light appears to have three locations on, off, and a center switch that does not appear to do anything. I asked the dealer and they said they were all that way and showed me a EX model that did the same thing. I looked thru the menus on the infotainment unit and could not find a door setting. Is there a switch I am missing somewhere? I would be surprised if Honda would have left this option out.

The rear switch has to be in the middle position and the front switch I can't recall which position. Just open and close ur for when messing with the front switch position

The center position on the rear light is "door operated", so it should come on when any door is opened. Mine turns on when front or rear door is opened.

Thank you all. Based on the responses I figured it out. The front switch and the rear interior light switch both have to be in the center position to make the lights come on or off with the door. I am a little surprised Honda made this a requirement to work together but I am happy to have the function now. With an infant being able to see in the dark was critical.
