U.S. 12v cargo accessory socket question...

1606 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  dongoati
I couldn't find any info on this. I'm in the US and as far as I know Canadian models come with the cargo 12v plug. Have any US users located the wiring? Is it even prewired? My last few cars, I've had it in the trunk, and I could use it in this one too.
My last resort would be to piggyback the heated steering wheel fuse and run it to the trunk, but if it's prewired, that'd be much easier.
Let me know!

Thanks!

Honda typically uses dedicated/unique wiring harnesses for each trim level, so the wiring does not exist in vehicles without the outlet.

I don't have heated steering wheel option, but I have a fuse in the fuse box where that option is..... Why would they do that?
