Car won't start. Have green flashing key symbol. This happened a couple of times before but the car then started after a wait. Now it seems to be premanent. ECU has been sent off for testing. Key has been checked and is working but the technician had probems scanning the OBD. Further inspection revealed previous owner had messed with the OBD. It doesn't seem to have enough wires in the connector shell and there are some loose wires in its vacinity. Can any one help with a wiring diagram for the OBD connector or a photo of one showing the wire colours etc.
Thanks in advance.

I hope you checked the OBD before sending the ECU off... ;-)

There is a manual pinned here somewhere, and the supplement section has some stuff about the ECU in there no 77 I think, let me look... hmm, here I think.

Thank you. Do you know where there might be wiring info with colour codes on the DLC? I’m sure mine has been tampered with and close to it there is a loose wire, yellow with grey bands. Only pins 4,5,7,12 & 16 have wires. There is wire going to 3 but it doesn’t look correct and is not connected. Perhaps it was connected to the other loose wire?

Wow, that does look a bit of a jumble...

Unfortunately mine is older (2003); I just took a pic and there is a lot less going on in mine (it's petrol also)...

Well yours is sparsely populated as well. I wonder if anyone can help with identifying the yellow wire with grey stripes in this pic? Or why there is an unconnected green wire coming from pin 3. The wire is thicker than all the others and doesn’t look original.
