I have an 06 2nd Gen CTDI with Bridgestone Duellers.

When I first bought it I found that my front, left tyre was wearing unevenly. The outer quarter of the "footrpint" was wearing more than the rest. The tyre co checked it using a laser machine and found nothing wrong with the alignment of the wheels.

Since then all the tyres have been replaced and I find that my rear left tyre has the same problem. The outer part is wearing more. All the others are OK

I keep my tyres up to correct pressure. The tyres have not been rotated

Is this likely to be a fault in the alignment or could there be other reasons for uneven tyre wear? I can understand fronts being misaligned due to kerbing or hitting potholes but perhaps not the rears?
