I know this is a long shot, but is there anyway to upgrade the front USB ports to have their power output to 2.1A like the rear USB ports? I hate how long it takes to charge a phone in the passenger side USB input.

When we are in the car we always have one phone attached to AndroidAuto and the other front USB is used for a flash drive which holds music.
We use another cable which is always plugged into one of the rear USBs if we need to charge another phone at the same time.

wish we could also, but it may not be so easy because its doing data, and not dedicated charging..

In the USB 1.0 and 2.0 specs, a standard downstream port is capable of delivering up to 500mA (0.5A); with USB 3.0, it moves up to 900mA (0.9A)

on a side note.. its so refreshing to see non OD posts all over the front page now.. previously they were getting bumped off within hours.
