Hi all,
New to this forum. I have a 2000 CR-V.
Recently I have problem with idle speed. Right after cold start, I have to wait for 15 minutes before the idle speed is stable.
During those 15 minutes, the idle speed is very low, going up and down under 1000 rpm.
If I don't wait for 15 minutes, the engine will shut off once I start to drive.
Throttle body plate has been cleaned, but no major improvement.
Aside from idle control valve, what other parts I need to check/replaced?
Thanks!

Check all the hoses for splits and holes. Replace as necessary.
Remove the electrical connector to the iac. Now start it and see if it’s still runs the same way. While it’s out, using carb cleaner in the hole.
Continuing the cheap parts fix, pull your plugs out. How many is the gap? Time to at least regap or replace.
