Nice stuff, thanks for sharing. Always nice to see CRV doing off roading especially since people bash the awd system after putting it on ROLLERS !!
I posted this in another section - http://www.everymandriver.com/snowy-...dave-erickson/
The 2015 crv in snow, pretty good considering how much more car like it has become since gen 1 and gen 2 days.

Antonio shows you shouldn't be afraid to get a little mud/dirt/dust on the CRV:

A closed course tests the suspension's limits:

The hill at the 5:00 minute mark is worthy climb:

What we let our friends talk us into attempting. I would not have tried. Will he make it?

That is quite some abuse with your CR-V. I'm planning to get mine of the pavement too but just need to grab some equipments before that.

Something I find curious is that there are many 1st gen or 2nd gen CR-V owners would take their Vs off-road, but I haven't seen as many 3rd or 4th gen Vs off-road though...

There's a few. Theres more earlier CRV driven offroad because of the extra ground clearance. It's also cheaper to fix :p

Oh, no, that was some other owner. As I wrote, I would not have even attempted that. Encouraging to see it finally got up though in case you ever unintentionally got your self into a similar situation.

I have two vids in my signature of my 3rd Gen off roading. I plan to do more and get more vids too.

Those look like our normal roads here... Our CRV sometimes gets near that amout of abuse, only we are trying to keep it easy... City streets are sometimes worse than those offroad trails... Not to mention that you are not only in that rough terrain, but also you are dodging the traffic...

old thread but some good videos except that last one in the snow, that's like watching a 16yr old try to drive on ice for the first time. sit back and laugh. Have touring tires on mine and more snow that that, none of those problems myself at all.

the first videos is what I'm going towards with my gen 2. it likes being off the pavement. last major bit is new tires. thought about lifting it a bit but not a fan of it overall as lift kits to do it properly dont really exist or are going to be insanely expensive.
