Cutting the wires your alarm speaker did not fix the problem, it only made the alarm silent because I had no speaker. It sounds like your alarm is still draining the battery even though I can't make noise due to a lack of speaker.

The alarm may also be immobilizing your starter, and that may be the source of the clicking sound. By pushing on it you may be preventing it from interrupting the power to the starter.
