A clicking from the dash area could be a relay going bonkers. I’m not sure of the layout of the Gen1, but the Gen2 PCM plus a handful of relays are behind the glovebox which can sound like the passenger side dashboard is clicking. Is your clicking originating from a fuse box area Or an area where a relay is located?
