Does anyone else has this issue? is it normal or can it be fixed.
I encountered that around 2,000 RPM when the CRV "shifts" i hear a high pitched whistle.

I turned off the radio, turned off the A/C. And this issue persists.

I own a 2016 CRV CVT 2.4L

Thanks!

I know the whistle you're talking about. Sounds like a mini turbo. I believe that it isn't any mechanical issue, just a characteristic of the drivetrain. The Foresters have a similar thing when they're around 50mph, although it's much more noticeable.

I'm not concerned about mine. I really only notice it when the car is dead quiet and I'm at city speeds. If you have the radio and A/C blaring and you still hear it, then I might ask about that on your next trip around the dealer.

I noticed this almost right away on my 2015 EX-L. Does sound like a turbo, I believe it is has to do with the direction-injection pressurizing.

Yes, I have this on my '15 EX-L, It is a turbo- like whistle on acceleration that can be heard especially when the AC and radio is off. I kind of like the sound, glad to hear its normal.
