I tried a vent mount, but the lower legs rested on the touch screen. Can't legally use a windshield mount in the middle of the windshield in California.

I use my wife's hand mount.

I put a glass screen protector on my display and then stuck a magnetic phone mount onto the screen protector a little above the volume button. I ordered an extra screen protector so one day if I want to get rid of the phone mount, I just peel off the screen protector and put the spare one on.

Some apps still aren't AA or CP compatible so I still have to use them such as what I use for my job.
