Hi Everyone,

I've been looking all over the place but can't identify. It looks like some kind of balancer/dampener. It looks like the rubber inside it has worn out, and it's making a knock during braking and acceleration. Can someone tell me what it is or what it its purpose?

I forgot to say that it's under the driver's side floorboard, under the driver's feet.

Front floor damper 74605-S9A-003, I believe it connects the floor panel to the front subframe, but not sure. You will have to crawl under the car and see.

Thanks very much! It doesn't connect to anything except the floorpan. I took it off and did a short test drive. Unfortunately, the noise is still there. Basically, it is a thump or knock when accelerating or braking that feels like it's under the driver's feet. You can only hear it at low speeds, but that could just be due to road noise masking it.
