I found a perfect piece of vinyl behind the car seat that can be used to patch the hole, but what kind of glue should I use? Consider the cigarette burn is right on the area that you sit, lot of friction and such can demand more durability, I assume that usual super glue won't do, it becomes tough and rigid when dried out. Anyone has experience with this? Thanks a lot!

Not sure about type of glue but they sell kits so maybe you can search for the kit and see what type of glue comes with it. One such kit is here:

Thanks, I actually looked at those kit and method before, but I think I am gonna give this method a try: How to Repair Cigarette Burns on Car Upholstery
I figure this is slightly superior since I have the patch with exact texture and color, so only question remains to find an adhesive that does the job;-)
