I have a 2000 Honda Crv with just under 180,000 miles. Transmission was acting up between 1st and 2nd gear. So i did the 3x drain and fill with Honda dw-1 fluid. After that i seemed to have lost 2nd gear altogether, every now and then if in drive and going up a hill would it downshift into 2nd. But from a stop I would have to drive 1st gear to about 4k rpms then let of the gas pedal and it would seem to jump into drive. Now this morning i get in start it up, put it in reverse to pull out of the driveway. Once i put it into Drive it didn't shift AT ALL. 1st, 2nd and drive were like being in neutral. Neutral and reverse were sending me in reverse. After Playing with it in Drive for a while. It finally jumped into gear. I scanned it and got a PO730 code. So in reading ive found a common linear solenoid assembly issue. But cant find it to check it out. So where is this solenoid located and am i looking at more than just a solenoid issue ? Thanks.
