I have just acquired my mother’s gold 2008 CRV EXL. I’ve read many posts regarding rim/tire modifications. I really like what Ellbiddy did with his gold CRV. Unfortunately he did not give the spec on his wheels. So here’s my scenario- 245/70R16 Bridgestone dueller Revo 2 on 16x8 rims with a 20mm offset. This will push the outside of the tires out 1.53”. I’m not sure if I will have any rubbing issues. Thoughts?

Congratulations on the new to you, CR-V, Maz - welcome to the site as well!

The wheel offset is slightly aggressive but should work with the right tire size. The issue here is the tire diameter - 245/70R-16 is tad too tall when coupled with the low offset. I recommend going with something 29" or shorter, such as 235/70R-16.
