I've had rough starting in my wife's CRV the past few months. Switched 2 batteries and changed the spark plugs. Car still will not start after 3-4 seconds of attempting to. On 2nd try, car will start after 1-2 seconds.

I've heard that the solder joints on the fuel relay can go bad since they are inside the cabin. During hot weather, and the A/C being on the solder joints cool down and heat back up when you leave your car.

Point being, does anybody know where the fuel relay is? I want to take it out and check the solder points and see if they are good / bad and responder them before I jump into expensive parts replacement.

Thanks!

Checked the fuel relay and after opening it it is not a soldered relay anymore. It's a copper wire wrapped around like a boss reel.

Back to square 1.
