Bought it on ebay. Here is the seller I used. Took 6 weeks to arrive to Canada. I was thinking it might be a lil too much too-but hey-wtf-they do look cool

This seller was half price of other sellers
Thanks, for less than $6.00 US I bought it to mess around with, and just see how it looks. lol

I want to upgrade and protect my EX as much as possible while spending the least amount of money.
So far i have added these inexpensive options..

1. Chrome Exhaust finishers
2. OEM Cargo tray
3. Mud Guards
4. Steering Wheel cover
5. Center console cover
6. Aftermarket Cargo organizer

Is there any other "quick and easy and inexpensive (relatively)" inside or out... add-ons or accessories you guys can think of? The door body mouldings i am considering.. but on the fence about them.

thanks!
Here is my upgrades

1) Window Tint
2) All Weather Mats Plus Cargo Mat
3) Led Fogs
4)Metal Brake and Gas Pedals
5)Extra Driver Seat Cushion
6)Interior Mats for all consoles
7)Door Sill Plates
8)Dash Cam

I would love lights that shine under the sides of the CR-V so it would be easier to parallel park when it's raining in the dark. I'm not sure if I would want them to turn on only when I reverse or with a flip of a switch though.

I just got a set to play around with. Where did you mount it? It's getting block a little by the bottom of the door.

I just had to have a solar powered hula-girl sitting up on my dash.
A friend provided it (for watching her cat sized dog one weekend) - she paid $1 at the dollar store.
My cost: free.

I actually glued a small spacer onto the bottom (so it shines down on an angle) of it so it clears the edge of the door
Ah ok I figured you may of done something like that. I also ordered a set from Amazon to compare and it's different from yours.
The Honda logo is a red circle and the Honda text below is blue.. not sure which I like better.
I can take a pic if you want.

I don't do much in the way of add-ons to my Hondas... but for my 2017 CRV... I finally decided to add a screen protector for the Head Unit.

NOT because I fear it will be damaged by use.. but because I hate the matte finish on the display screen. Hard to clean, subject to abrasion, gets washed out in bright sunlight, etc.

The long standing issue with screen protectors though is that most of them on the market are hard-glass, and while this type of screen protector is great for smart phones and tablets.. is sucks in the case of a vehicle as they simply do not do well in the cabin of a vehicle.. with the extreme swings in temperatures from very hot on a hot day to freezing cold in the winter. The glass screen protectors are prone to cracking, distorting, bubbling, etc when applied to a vehicle head unit display, so I passed on them long ago.

Solution ----> Photodon Screen Protectors. https://www.photodon.com/p/2267-01.html I waited on this until I found a CRV owner who had one.. and the reported results were excellent.

They sell them with a range of their different versions of material and finish .. and since I wanted a nice glossy screen finish (like comes standard on the current generation Accords)... I went with the 9HO screen protector material. The 9HO costs a few bucks more then their matte finish.. but totally worth it for me. Great image quality, without nasty sunlight reflections on the screen, and it has glass like hardness and abrasion resistance and is incredibly easy to clean and does not seem to accumulate finger marks easily (which is an issue with the stock HU screen surface).

My HU screen now looks very similar to the one in my wifes Accord, and I am so happy to be rid of the matte screen finish.. which is completely hidden by the screen protector. :)

They have great instructions and kit for cleaning your screen and installing the protector, as well as a great demo video for their screen protector application on products as well. The CRV screen protector has a circular cutout for the volume control knob.. so no need to remove the knob.

Note: Phtodons are a flexible high tack yet removable material... and I found on a properly cleaned screen surface.. they apply with almost no bubbling at all, and the little squeegee they include in the kit cleaned up the few small bubbles really well.

Anyway.. anyone looking for a HU screen protector... I recommend giving Photodon a good consideration.

Can you provide a link Boooey? I think I like yours better. It looks to be more "crisp" also
I just got the set from your china seller.
First.... it seems to be lower quality but interesting the color is the same as my amazon set and not like yours.. red honda logo with blue honda text.
I also notice that the image is much bigger and less bright when holding them at the same distance from the ground.
It's also not as sharp. So definitely get what you pay for here.

saw a new wireless charger up on Amazon now.. but it looks like a small pad, and may mot fit large phones

The one i added to my 18 EX has the entire pad available and my Note 9 just fits it.

There are a bunch of dash cams out there, and they are all universal fit. That being said, I have tried a bunch, and have yet to find one that offers the level of video quality that you get with the Blackvue DR-900S - but it comes at a premium price.
