Looking for feed back on the 2.4L vs the 1.5L Turbo engines.
Is bigger better for long road trips or will the 1.5L Turbo handle the load?

Thoughts on the subject?

For long road trips.. the 1.5T is definitely superior over the 2.4. It simply has a much better positioned torque band compared to the 2.4, which means the CVT is better optimized with the engine and the vehicle will run at freeway speeds at lower rpms and will achieve better fuel mileage as well. In addition.. the 1.5T has superior acceleration when needed, like passing, etc.

BETTER is subjective. Do you prefer spirited blast offs?
Or something more mild, well proven and still efficient?

I'm happy with my 2.4L choice - and its' MPG return (see below). YMMV.

Get the one that revs your mind.
