I could not find where to do a Vin search on that dealers website. I searched the Vin on Honda-Tech and got a nice spec sheet but it only told me I had an Automatic 5 speed w/ Overdrive.
Amazon is kind of stupid sometimes. It wanted to know what tranny I had to make sure ATF-DW1 fit my CR-V. lol. Makes sense for the AT/MT trannies, but does not seem necessary between GPPE & MTZA AT, what ever they are.

VIN search is there, you need to surf down through a few screens. :cautious:

I did a regular Google for the transmission types...said that the designation is on a label on the trans. Good luck with THAT after all these years. Still, the Google identified transmission repair shops that might help if you inquire?

Good Luck

Contact your local Honda dealer service shop and they can VIN check and tell you what tranx it has in it. Otherwise the tranx should have it's own VIN but the Honda service would be better to tell you where to look to find that number.
