hello people; 13. Has anyone removed them after being on for a few years? My V came with them and the ones I've put on in the past had sticky tape the was super tacky and would be a pain to remove.

I had some get damaged by a trip thru the car wash, tore one half off on a Civic I had. I had the dealer remove it because the car wash was paying for the replacement. They said its pretty painstaking to take them off but it can be done. To take it off and clean it and put on a new one took about 2 hours.

Take some fishing line and run it as close to the visor as you can in a slicing back and forth motion. Don't hold it to the paint. Wear gloves. It will come off super easy. Having a heat gun will help in removing the residue. A hair dryer may or may not work. I know it won't work as well as a heat gun. Then use an adhesive remover such as Goo Gone, which can be bought at any home improvement store. Personally I think stuff like that is easy to remove.

Fishing line used for catching trout, not the deep sea stuff.
