Not much really reason to use the wifi really, in my view. Hondalink is about the only reason, and Hondalink does not have the really nice advanced features in it on the CRV.
In the new generation Accords, HondaLink is much better feature wise and you can use wifi to do firmware updates on your headunit.. so the next generation CRV will likely follow suit in this regard.
